Summary/Abstract: Introduction. The dynamic and continuous development of electronic media, which is actively used by children and young people, justifies the need for media education practiced at home by parents, and by teachers at school. The growing popularity and attractiveness of the media, and free access to it by the youngest, imposes additional obligations on parents in the process of child rearing.
