Summary/Abstract: A sign of the crisis in Polish economic historiography after 1989 is the low participation of Polish researchers in the World Economic History Congresses organised periodically by the International Economic His- tory Association (IEHA). This article presents the attendance and achievements of representatives of Polish research centres at ten IEHA congresses between 1990 and 2022. The study is part of research into the intellectual history of economic historiography. During the analysed period, an average of twelve people represented Polish science at the world forum, which did not reflect its potential. Nevertheless, the subjects of the presented papers were in line with the essential trends in world science.
