Summary/Abstract: How does morality “begin”? Can it be preceded by “something else” and is it the finale of human culturality? Moving through the chronotope, an attempt is made to argue for extra-historicity in order to address the private scientific interest in the “art of medicine.” Historicity is used as a “witness” against itself. The conflation of the mythological, the ethical and the moral seems inevitable, and, at the same time, the need for distinction is imposed. The starting point are mythological figures that are known to have healed both the bodies and souls of mortals and gods. Cognitive acts would not be possible without available landmarks, and humanization is a consequence, not a cause.
