Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the recently established meanings of the adjective чувст¬вителен ‘sensitive’ found in expressions such as sensitive information, sensitive data, sensitive issues, sensitive stories, which have emerged as a result of the English influence on Bulgarian. These meanings contrast with earlier uses of the word to the point of enantiosemy. Below I list a number of synonyms that can successfully replace this adjective in the expressions under consideration.
