Delimitation of a border road, state border zone, and a border area in Poznań Voivodeship (1946–1950)

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the process of marking out strip of the border road, frontier zone and frontier strip in borderland districts: Gorzów Wielkopolski, Sulęcin, Rzepin, Gubin and Krosno Odrzańskie of the Poznań Voivodeship. It describes the process of forming these zones, its difficulties and methods of marking out. Besides modest literature concerning this case, the sources used in this study were archive materials from archives in Gorzów Wielkopolski and Zielona Góra.
