Summary/Abstract: Individuals with visual impairments have particular difficulties in the workplace, but they can succeed and have high employability rate with the correct assistance and accommodations. This abstract will examine the issues and difficulties that visually impaired people encounter at work and will go over solutions. Having to make modifications in order to carry out job duties is one facet of visual impairment that might be problematic at work. This could involve making physical changes to the workspace in addition to utilizing specialist tools like magnifiers or screen readers. To make sure that everyone can collaborate well, employers may need to offer assistance and training to both the visually impaired worker and their co-workers. The influence of discrimination and bias is another facet of visual impairment on employability, rejection from colleagues at the workplace and from the environment negatively affects visually impaired people to the extent that it has made them mentally incapacitated by destroying their self-esteem. Some businesses can be reluctant to recruit people with visual impairments because they have misconceptions about their capabilities or are worried about the accommodations that would be needed, that is, they are worried that visually impaired people will not complete the work task sufficiently or not. It is critical that people with visual impairments speak up for themselves , to be full of self-confidence, to stand out in front of their colleagues and inform employers of their abilities and the value they may add to the job. Additionally, obstacles like inaccessible websites or a lack of transit choices may make it difficult for those with visual impairments to network and find employment possibilities. Ensuring that visually impaired individuals have equal access to job prospects requires firms to prioritize accessibility and inclusion in theis hiring processes, as well as to take into accounts alternate techniques for recruitment and networking. Notwithstanding these obstacles, people with vision impairments have a lot going for them that make them very marktable. They frequently have great adaptability, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. The correct assistance and modifications can help people with vision impairments succeed in a variety of fields and occupations .In summary, people with visual impairments confront particular difficulties at work, rejection,but with correct assistance and modifications, they can be very successful and maketable. Employers should place a high priority on accessibility and inclusivity, and people with visual impairments should speak up for themselves, to be full of self-confidence, to stand out in front of their colleagues, and highlight their qualifications. Together we can built a more diverse and inclusive workplace where people with visual impairments may flourish, to be full of understanding, to provide them with support, and to help them achieve their desired goal in the workplace.
