Summary/Abstract: Feliks Koneczny, as most Polish reviewers, distanced himself from the topics of dramatic works of Gabriele d’Annunzio. Yet due to the acting of Wanda Siemaszkowa, Stanisława Wysocka and Helena Modrzejewska he explained with great interest the poetics (style, imagery) and staging (word, gesture, movement) of Il sogno di un mattino di primavera (1897) and La Gioconda (1899) in Cracow theatre.
