Summary/Abstract: The topic of this article is philosophical counseling as an effective tool to support human resilience. Philosophical counseling encourages in- dividuals to become aware of their beliefs and values, develop criti- cal thinking skills, and find essential meaning in life. However, it may not work for everyone and should be used as a complementary tool alongside other forms of support, such as humanistic psychotherapy. Undoubtedly, it is also important to consider systematic research on the potential benefits and limitations of philosophical counseling in supporting, for example, individual mental health, well-being, and broadly understood human resilience.
