Summary/Abstract: This article explores the influence of the canon of political and legal thought on higher education, focusing on the perspectives of Leo Strauss, the Cambridge School, and Reinhart Koselleck. The evolution of the canon, traditional elements such as the selection of key texts, and critiques of Eu- rocentrism are discussed. Perspectives from Strauss, the Cambridge School, and Koselleck high- light methodological differences. The conclusion emphasizes the challenges of integrating these perspectives and underscores the growing role of modern technologies in teaching political and legal thought.
