Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the work presented here is to enucleate some details of the Padua sojourn of Mikołaj Tomicki, dedicatee, moreover, as is well known, of a sonnet by Mikołaj Sęp Szarzyński, and of his friendships, on the basis of primary sources, especially the letters addressed to him by Antonio Maria Graziani and Giulio Poggiani.
