Summary/Abstract: The article presents an analysis of reading strategies employed by gymnasium pupils (lower secondary school) and students of the Polish Philology of the Pedagogical University of Krakow. Readers’ interest was evoked by the literary debut of M. Łoziński, Reisefieber, which won the second award of the Kościelscy Fund in 2006. The aim of the article is to show the similarities and differences in the reception of modern literature at two levels of education.
