Summary/Abstract: According to HG 143 of 12.02.2018 from the Republic of Moldova, a basic concept in theprimary prevention of risks regarding the well-being of the child is the protective factors ofthe family. In this research, the results are presented with reference to the functionality ofthe protective factors of the family, namely, parental resilience. Identifying potential risk andprotective factors can lead to substantial improvements in many areas of child well-being.Promoting resilience is not just a matter of eliminating child abuse, as successfully managingrisk is a resilience-promoting factor in itself.
