Summary/Abstract: The Western Balkan countries are working individually to meet the criteria for integration, set by the European Union, instead they should work together to be allies of sustainable, reliable and to provide economic policies that would be beneficial for each other. The fact that all these countries are in the same street, and with the same European aspirations make possible the creation of more security and stability in the region and new space for increased cooperation in the economic field, which will directly have an impact in the improvement of their economies. One of the policies followed by the EU states, versus Western Balkan, is the creation of a free trade area, between these countries, to benefit trade facilitation between them. This policy finds application in the implementation of the CEFTA Agreement, which action should serve as a stabilizing factor and the first element of integration to economic cooperation with the European Common Market, which can serve as a barometer for countries to global markets of Western Balkan. The role of the economy is sensitive and even as a stability bridge, cooperation and mutual respect should be the leading feature for managing economic relations between states of Western Balkan. In this study, we will prove the hypothesis that: the regional economies cannot be included successfully in the global economy if it is not developed a sustainable regional cooperation between them in the EU integration framework.
