The role of leadership in the development of public enterprises. Post and Telecom of Kosovo (PTK. sha)

Summary/Abstract: Leadership is the ability to create vision, courage and new concepts. The ability of any leader is to work with people, with different groups in the company and to have influence over them. So to have information about the art of management and leadership means knowing the world in which he lives and works. For leadership are given different definitions and theories from various authors. A general definition of leadership defines it as a social process in which a person can get the help and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task. In reality there is no major difference between management and leadership, their difference is in the level and focus. Confrontation is that all leaders are managers, as well as all managers can be leaders. Leadership playsa crucial role in the development of public and private enterprises. In this research we will analyze the role and impact of leadership in the development of enterprises in general and public enterprises in particular, and we will disclose the reasons of (in) efficiency of these enterprises.
