Summary/Abstract: This paper has on its focus the economic and financial threat of money laundry as a criminal activity. The story of money laundry is firstly the story of money and property concealment from the seizure or taxation. Money laundry has negative consequences and indicates considerable distortion of real economic development. It deprives competition from fair and free will, it violates the market rules and orders and it even strikes them harshly by breeding serious market disorders. Access of money laundry in legal economies can lead criminal groups to take under control the legal and financial economy. Money laundry is a financial crime, and despite its definition it includes the attempts to avoid seizure of income deriving from crime. FATF (Financial Action Task Force) which defines money laundry as “performance of crime income with object to hide their illegal origin’.
