VERIFIABILITY OF LAND DEEDS ISSUED UNDER THE LAW OF 26 OCTOBER 1971 ON THE REGULATION OF OWNERSHIP OF FARMS

Summary/Abstract: On 4 November 1971, the Law of 26 October 1971 on the regulation of ownership of farms came into force. It was a one-time piece of legislation aimed at finally regulating the informal trade in agricultural real estate. Despite its incidental effect, the enfranchisement carried out over 50 years ago has had legal effects that are still relevant. The document confirming the ownership of property acquired as a result of enfranchisement is the land title deed, which is an administrative decision. The article aims to provide an overview of the possibility of verifying land title deeds in administrative and civil proceedings.
