An ethical perspective on the financial crisis

Summary/Abstract: Recent financial crisis, with its height in September 2008, was just the begining of a economic crisis, which is considered by many economists as one of most severe crisis many countries have been faceing. The globalization has enabled the growth of life standart in a lot of developing countries, but it could not deflect the domino effect of transferability of the economic crisis, from most developed countries to developing and poor ones, which have been hoping in the miracle of capitalism. Albania is one of the European countries, that has been faceing the crisis without much economic consequences, even having a positive economic growth (last year). Financial sector is not much developed, compared to that of western countries, and mainly this and some other reasons may have been motives why financial system in Albania was not hit with the same intensity with which other European economies were. Albanian financial system, global crisis and some other matters are the objective of this paper.
