Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on the importance of the class teacher as a key factor in building and maintaining strong links between the family and the school, with an emphasis on mutual understanding, respect and cooperation. It describes how the class teacher's communicative competencies are manifested in the development of individual approaches to pupils and how these teachers can be instrumental in addressing the various challenges presented by the classroom.
