Summary/Abstract: this article explores the history and contemporary functioning of the youth educational centre of the orionite fathers, describing the educational activities initiated by the institution’s founder, father franciszek toporski, and highlighting key events in the center’s history. it also attempts to showcase selected ongoing projects within the facility. the aim is to demonstrate that both in the past and in the present, the institution’s educational efforts strive to make its residence on barska Street a home for socially maladjusted youth.
