Summary/Abstract: The article presents the fundamental ideas of Russian historical Polish studies in the creative heritage of Platon N. Zhukovich, a conservative historian of Slavophilic orientation. Zhukovich studied the history of Poland, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and the territory of Ukraine from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century, and he paid particular attention to the Reformation in Poland, including the issues of cooperation between Orthodox and Protestant followers, as well as the spread of the Church Union.
