Summary/Abstract: The international conference "Values in Literature and Art VI" held at Masaryk University in Brno on September 14-15, 2023, explored the theme of capturing and clarifying values in literature, literary criticism, and other art forms. Discussions included the axiological theme of war in literature and art, heroism in artistic literature and documentary genres, and significant anniversaries of Slavic literary figures in 2023. The conference featured diverse research presentations across seven Slavic languages, English, and German, by experts in linguistics, literary science, and art studies from various countries. Topics ranged from the intersection of literature and national ideology, religious questions in literature, to the representation of women's wartime experiences and the motivational understanding of immoral behavior.
