Summary/Abstract: This paper studies the development process of the personal data protection system that deepens its roots in privacy rights and extends its scope towards the free development of personality. All this from a global and historical evolutionary perspective with the intention of contributing to a solution to the problem of mass processing of personal information that affects the extension and limits of other fundamental rights.
