Summary/Abstract: The receptiveness, blurred boundaries or subjectivity that characterise the feuilleton are themain reasons why determining the text type characteristics of this press text type in two languageareas can be considered an interesting undertaking. The aim of this article is to present the feuilletonas a press text type in Polish and German studies. The object of the study is to show externaland internal text type characteristics of the feuilleton, which are presented on the example of twolifestyle magazines, the Polish “Be active” and the German “Vegan World,” with the help of the casestudy research method.
