Summary/Abstract: It is my great pleasure and honour to write the Guest View for this issue of the renowned international scientific journal European Perspectives. The journal is entering its tenth year, which is an important achievement. Its publication begun – symbolically – upon the twentieth anniversary of the end of the Cold War.
