Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the contribution of VŠFS academic staff to the development of criminology, forensic disciplines and security sciences. Progress has been significant in the last twenty years. The article briefly summarizes the specific literary and scientific advances of Professor Viktor Porada. He is considered one of the founders of security sciences. He significantly contributed to the development of the theory of criminology and forensic biomechanics.
