Summary/Abstract: A literary miniature written during the first days of the war and describing the experience of staying in frontline Irpin. “My Mum is a dinosaur. She is against all gifts of civilisation – gadgets, credit cards, electronic tickets. She smokes ordinary cigarettes, reads printed newspapers, solves crossword puzzles, and watches television. She could not be persuaded to get a smartphone. For eight years she used an Alcatel phone with dials, and when it began to become restive she said that she wants an identical one because getting accustomed to a new one is not her favourite pastime. Two months ago we bought her a new Alcatel of the old type. The battery lasts for three days”.
