Summary/Abstract: Adoption of law no. 246 of 31.07.2023 for the modification of some normative acts (modification of the normative framework related to the reform of the Supreme Court of Justice), essential changes were made to the Code of Civil Procedure of the Republic of Moldova, and especially the institution of appeal, being conceptually modified we also consider the function of the Supreme Court of Justice , the "red thread" in the entire normative framework related to the reform of the Supreme Court of Justice being its transformation, as mentioned by the main promoters of the reform, into a veritable court of cassation. Whether this was successful or not, it is premature to assess, or such a far-reaching reform, to be assessed objectively, it is indispensable to see how it will be applied in a practical way by the Supreme Court of Justice, and this as a consequence could take place, we believe, during the coming years, that's why, through the present study, an attempt was made to anticipate the possible problems that the practitioners will encounter and, of course, to identify the solutions.
