Summary/Abstract: The article contains the analysis of Maurras’s view of notion of the unity, which is in his opinion proper to the classical thought, art and policy and so to an authentic French culture, as a continuation of Greek and Roman tradition, destroyed in the modern world by the revolutionary individualism as the principle of Reformation, Revolution and romanticism, being negation of the classical reason. Remedy for this disease is return to classical thought, art and policy which are able to save Latin civilization (latinité) by France. Rebirth of civilization by France is possible because of, despite nationalistic attitude of Maurras, universal impact of France, as a realization of civilized principles from classical culture and its universalism as a practical realization of the classical principle of unity. By analysis of the philosophical views of Maurras in this area, the article presents his reflections important from the point of view of philosophy of culture.
