Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to record and preserve from oblivion the existence of 22 watermills in the territorial area of the village of Suha, located in the municipality of Živinice. These watermills were present from the 19th century to the 21st century and hold significant cultural and historical importance as a representation of life and work in the village of Suha. The paper emphasizes the urgent need for activities focused on the preservation and restoration of one existing watermill as an ethnographic treasure of the village. It also highlights the villagers who constructed the watermills and aims to preserve the old names associated with the construction and operation of the watermills. This paper unveils the secret behind the origin of the village's name, Suha.
