Summary/Abstract: In this study, we delve into the world of neurotoxicants, focusing particularly on three noted agents: alcohol, mercury, and lead, alongside a lesser-known yet potent chemical, TOCP (triortho-cresyl phosphate). Each of these substances possesses a unique mechanism of action, but collectively they share a disturbing ability to impair neurological function, often with irreversible consequences. As the fateful effects of these substances continue to infiltrate our environment, the urgency to understand, mitigate, and prevent their impact on human health has never been greater. This review unravels the intricate interplay between neurotoxicants and the environment, shedding light on the complex web of factors influencing human well-being in an increasingly toxic world.
