Summary/Abstract: The paper offers an analysis of family conflict resolution with the participation of children using the method of transformative mediation. The Mediation and Education Centre in Brno is introduced in the first part, including the focus of its activities and target group. Subsequently, the definition of family mediation is operationalized, an integral part of which is the inclusion of the children’s perspective. In the third and central part of the paper, we offer an analysis of working with family conflict using the interactional theory of conflict, which presents the underlying basis of transformative mediation.
