Summary/Abstract: This article proposes a discursive study of the criticism of the hierarchical representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Autocephalous Church on one of the best French-speaking Orthodox blogs, "orthodoxologie.blogspot.com", belonging to a Swiss professor of literature and (Orthodox) subdeacon, Claude Lopez-Ginisty. An outspoken supporter of the so-called canonical Ukrainian Church, historically dependent on Moscow and under the authority of Patriarch Kirill, its administrator constantly criticises the schismatic present of Ukrainian Orthodoxy, represented by the Autocephalous Church's claim to be the only legitimate Orthodox Church in Ukraine, as well as the Ukrainian government's desire for an autonomous Orthodox Church, not subjugated to Moscow and not torn apart by war. This present is permanently related to an idealised canonical past represented by the jurisdiction of the Moscow Patriarchate over the Ukrainian Orthodox churches, which should legitimise, according to its positions expressed in the blog articles, a similar "canonical" present in the Ukrainian Church. We will work on several French texts hosted by this blog, which deal with this thorny ecclesiastical crisis of Ukrainian Orthodoxy today.
