Summary/Abstract: Two years ago, Lithuania concluded negotiations of significant importance. Lithuania’s negotiations on the accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) have been the first international economic negotiations taken on such scale and complexity. The only negotiations that could be compared to them are the Lithuania’s European Union (EU) membership talks. And even the latter one has been to some extent facilitated by the Lithuania’s WTO accession process because a number of requirements for membership in both organizations are the same. Yet, regardless of its importance, there are almost no studies addressing the issue of Lithuania’s accession to the WTO
