Summary/Abstract: During the 1980s, there were many environmental problems in Croatia, of which we will refer only to some of them in this article: two rivers (Drava and Sava), one city - Split, two ecological problems related to bays - the spilling of waste materials from Neum in the Mali Ston Bay and the pollution of the Kaštela Bay. We also present the environmental problems related to the Plomin II thermal power plant in Istria.
