Summary/Abstract: Lexical innovations represent a dynamic, extensive and universal phenomenon that reflects the progress of society and the creativity of the language. Since social innovations are interdependent with lexical innovations, specialists should be aware of the inevitable explosion of renewals at the linguistic level. Knowing the inventory of neologisms, in certain periods, contributes to a better understanding of the lexical system of a given language and its evolution. In the present article we record a series of Anglicisms that have recently entered the language of the current mass media, which reflect the recent state of the dynamics of the Romanian language. We provide them with an adequate primary lexicographical treatment, namely fixing, establishing a correct way of spelling and pronouncing, placing them in certain lexical, grammatical and semantic classes, defining, integrating them into contexts appropriate to the meaning, in order to facilitate the decoding of the content.
