Summary/Abstract: Education and training are two essential components of individual life in a knowledge-based society. According to the author, the reform of the military education system should be based on quality and excellence. Thus the reform of the military education system starts from the social values and entails institutional and individual responsibility, being generated by the relationship between teacher and student/trainer and trainee. The results are strongly influenced by the quality of the teaching staff/training staff. In this context, the author analyses the main courses of action in the field of military education, as planned by the General Staff, in stages: 2017-2020 and 2021-2026.
