Summary/Abstract: The TELMER Project (2023–2024), led by the Institute of the Estonian Language and co-solved by the Institute for the Czech Language, aimed to map language consulting activities across various countries, enhance the competencies of language workers through professional training, and establish universally accepted standards for language consulting. The project also sought to create a network for language consultants to share experiences and improve service quality. Key activities included the development and distribution of a questionnaire, personal meetings of Czech and Estonian linguists, and a training program focused on communication strategies and problem-solving. The project culminated in the formulation of a general standard for language consulting and plans for an association of consulting centers.
