Summary/Abstract: The review summarizes the main points of the first monograph on holistic spirituality in Bulgarian sociology. The study is based on twenty-three in-depth autobiographical interviews, mostly with yoga practitioners and followers of Petyr Dynov. One of the notable advantages of the book is that Teodora Karamelska convincingly and produc-tively recalibrates concepts developed Max Weber, Georg Simmel and Ernst Troelch so as to adapt them to the new religious movements.
