TRAGOM MATICE UMRLIH USTAŠA - DJELOVANJE POGLAVNIKOVA TJELESNOG ZDRUGA NA PODRUČJU VELIKE ŽUPE ZAGORJE
IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE REGISTAR OF DEAD USTASHA – ACTIVITIES OF POGLAVNIK'S PHYSICAL GUARD IN THE TERRITORY OF GREAT DISTRICT ZAGORJE

Summary/Abstract: In this paper, for the first time, the author analyzes and presents data about the number of dead members of Poglavnikov tjelesni zdrug, namely those born in the area of the large parish of Zagorje (96 of them) as well as those who died in the area of the same large parish (270 of them). The main historiographical source for this topic was the "Matica umrlih ustaša", which was analyzed by the following data (which are also shown in graphs): number of dead, places of birth of the dead, time of death, age, reason of death, place of death and burial place. Part of the data has been compared with other archival sources in order to achieve the goal, which is proof of credibility and its importance for further studies of the activities of the PTS. In the appendices to the paper, there are two tables named: Members of the PTS born in the area of the large parish of Zagorje - registered in the death register and Members of the PTS killed or died in the area of the large parish of Zagorje - registered in the register of the dead.
