Summary/Abstract: In this article I have addressed only one aspect of Jesus Hierarchical Prayer, namely: Prayer for the disciples. The expression of the Savior in the above text brings to our attention two objectives of this prayer, one that is clearly directed to the elect of the Lord, the future Apostles, and the other that, as noted, is lacking in relation to the world. Hence the exciting wording of the title of this paper. The article aims to show on the one hand the importance of prayer for the disciples in the perspective of the mission they will have to fulfill as messengers of Christ, who are under the invincible guard of God, because their work will unfold under the seal of consecration and apostolate. On the other hand, it discovers the impossibility of fulfilling the act of Jesus prayer for the world understood in the first phase as a paradox, to be understood based on the words of Holy Scripture and their authorized interpretations, which is in fact the real substratum of the Lord’s words.
