Summary/Abstract: The development of this study is induced by the need for determining the meaning of the term capabilities for the military sphere, their essence, as well as the connection with certain elements of their combat power of the formation. The text presents some of the results of the more specific research on the depth of their applicability at all levels of command and control in the Armed Forces.
