PRESENTATION AND ANALYSIS OF THE “BODY-IMAGE” PERFORMANCE-FESTIVAL

Summary/Abstract: In the article the authors address issues related to performance seen as a universal art form. The event from which they start is a performance-festival at the Sofia Arsenal Museum of Contemporary Art (SAMCA) in April 2023. The article focuses on the diversity of performance forms in terms of thematic focus, authorial concepts and the means of expression used. Aspects of continuity between student performances and those of authors actively working in the field are addressed. Special attention is paid to the action "Dialogues with Blood", carried out during the performance festival within five working days. The artists search for and improvise artistic forms and situations at the intersections between the fields of science and art.
