Summary/Abstract: The documents of Konstantin nikolov Iliev (composer, conductor, music pedagogue, and critic) entered the Central State Archives (CSA) in 2018 as a donation from his heirs Maria Prinz and Ventsislav Iliev. The archival collection registered under no. 1544 contains 331 units, grouped in inventory no. 1. A large part of the documents was created as a result of Konstantin Iliev’s creative and administrative activity. Some of his most significant works have been preserved in the collection: the operas “Elenovo Тsarstvo” and “The Master of Boyanа”, the oratorio “Eulogy for Constantine the Philosopher, Called Cyril”, Symphonies no. 1 to no. 6, Tempi Concertati from no. 1 to no. 7, etc. Konstantin Iliev’s rich archival materials are undoubtedly a valuable information source on both his personal biography (respectively creative work) and the development of musical culture in modern Bulgaria in the 20th century.
