Summary/Abstract: The entry into the XXI century was accompanied by an expansion of Administrative Law beyond the subjective orbit of the Public Administration and the State. This expansion is predictable in a horizontal sense, from the State to society, but also in a vertical and upward sense, giving rise to the application of genuine legal-administrative principles, conceived, enlightened and matured within the national systems. In response to this phenomenon, administrative doctrine has moved from showing its interest in the effects of globalization on administrative law to speaking quite naturally about a new reality called „Global Administrative Law”. With perhaps excessive force, it was stated that „the existence of a Global Administrative Law is, today, an indisputable reality”. Specifically, it is suggested that Global Administrative Law constitutes a key new concept, which is not yet mature enough to be considered either a new discipline or a new branch of Administrative Law.
