The text explores the various variables that contribute to the glass ceiling, classifying them into human, organizational, and societal components. Individual aspects refer to the difficulties women encounter while trying to manage several tasks, whereas organizational factors involve problems such as the culture inside the firm, the lack of available mentors, and the obstacles presented by both male and female leaders. Societal variables encompass instances of gender-based professional discrimination and the application of stereotypical judgments. In addition, the publication examines the repercussions of the glass ceiling, including reduced motivation, discontent with one's career, and the possible effects on organizational productivity and the retention of talented individuals. In addition, it provides tactics for overcoming the barrier to advancement known as the glass ceiling. These tactics include obtaining advanced education, seeking guidance from mentors, cultivating social networks, showcasing exceptional performance, and resolving problems related to one's role. The glass ceiling can be defined as an intangible barrier that hinders the progress of women in reaching high-level positions, even when they possess the required qualifications. This phenomena is ascribed to a confluence of human, organizational, and societal influences. The glass ceiling can result in reduced motivation and discontentment among women, potentially impacting corporate productivity.
