Coasts, which take over an important role in social and economic terms for countries, are at the same time, evermore important areas in human life where activities such as transportation, trade, tourism and similar activities could be carried out. With the advancement of technology, the speed of density in the coastal areas and depending upon this, the pressure on them has increased and yet continues to increase. Events such as uncontrolled use, industrialization, and filling works that occur over time spoil the balance of natural life in coastal areas. In this study; The development process and a general review of the Coastal Management regulation, which is an inevitable need on the coasts, was made with the help of the studies and legal bases.
