Summary/Abstract: This essay tackles with the questions of gender roles within the work of Adalet Agaoglu’s “Uc Bes Kisi”, emphasizing the most essential finding that social pressure has been a predominant factor affecting different behaviours of characters. In such regard, both male and female characters have been forced to act in line with societal expectations rather than by their own wishes, in those contrary cases they have been isolated from society.
