Summary/Abstract: The article presents some aspects related to change management in the military education system in Romania. The author shows that, in the military system, more than in other organisations or systems, organisational culture is based on symbols, traditions, practices, values, beliefs and expectations that both particularise and differentiate it. That is why the changes in the military education system should be properly correlated with the specific organisational culture. Moreover, the author identifies some essential aspects related to change in the military education system, among which the following can be mentioned: the redesign of the graduate model, the development and implementation of a flexible curriculum, the structural reorganisation of the military higher education system.
