Summary/Abstract: The Revision of life combined with the know-judge-act method is a noteworthy tool for putting into practice the synodal values of unity, participation, and mission. Based on the experience of the Church in Latin America, the article presents two arguments in support of this thesis. First, the revision of life prevents the synod from being reduced to mere declarative pronouncements, erudite analyses, and decisions. Secondly, it helps to overcome the franchise mentality between those who create synodal resolutions and those who should implement them. Thus, it contributes to leaving the personal and structural comfort zone towards growth and permanent Christ poiesis.
