Summary/Abstract: The article presents the activity of the American Red Cross in Romania between 1917 and 1918, based on the archive materials belonging to the National Archives of Romania, consisting of the official mail correspondence between Queen Marie of Romania and representatives of the American Red Cross Mission in our country. Queen Marie’s Memories are another important source of information in this regard. The presence of the American Red Cross in Romania during the First World War significantly contributed to the development of the relationships between Romania and the United States of America.
